Booking terms :

 

General terms and conditions: 

Bookings are understood to be from 5.00 pm on the day of your arrival until 11.00 am on the day of your departure.

Cleaning and household linen are included in the price of the booking.

You will be greeted in the language of your choice: French, Dutch or English.

Unless stated otherwise, guests are assumed to have read these terms and conditions and to have accepted all of the clauses at the latest by the time of paying for the booking or coming to occupy the property.

Bookings become effective and legally binding once the client has paid the operator a 50% deposit for their stay. Occupying the room also has the effect of a rental contract. Prices include all charges and tourist taxes, but exclude any additional services/amenities requested by the client.

Except for clients coming from BOOKING and AIRBNB, a security deposit of 500€ will be required in cash when the client arrives. This security deposit will be refunded in full on condition that the exit inventory does not reveal any damage. The cost of any damage will be deducted from the security deposit after an inspection of the property has been carried out.

The client must be aged 25 or over.

Commercial photographs and videos are not permitted at the property.

Moulin de Jeannot is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility.

 

 

 

 

Cancellations  :

Cancellation by the client must be notified by telephone and e-mail, using the form provided in the Contact Us tab.

  • If cancellation is made more than 15 days before the beginning of the stay, the deposit will be refunded in full. Otherwise, the deposit will be forfeited to the operator.
  • If cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the beginning of the stay, the operator reserves the right to charge the agreed balance of the accommodation.
  • If a stay is cut short for any reason, the cost of the accommodation and any additional services requested but not used will be forfeited to the operator.

In the event of the stay being cancelled by the operator before the start date of the stay, the operator will notify the client by all available means and request acknowledgment of receipt. The client will then be refunded immediately in full client for all monies paid. 

 

 

 

Arrival and departure:

Guests must arrive on the day stated and at the agreed time. Official regulations require the client, on arrival, to provide the details needed to conduct checks on travellers (contact details, identity card number, etc.).

In the event of late or delayed arrival, the client must notify the operator. If the client does not arrive within an hour of the scheduled day and time to begin their stay, the booking will be cancelled and the owner may re-let the guesthouse.
The deposit will be forfeited by the client and the owner reserves the right to make a claim for the balance of the accommodation.

Unless agreed otherwise with the owner, check-in is at 5.00 pm and check-out by 11.00 am.

Guests making reservations with the owner for a specific length of stay may not, under any circumstances, claim any right to remain on the premises beyond the scheduled end of the stay. Re-letting or subleasing is forbidden.

Some basic supplies are available to guests (beverages, pasta, condiments, soap, etc.). Please replace any items that are used or run out. We rely on your honesty!

The parties will draw up an inventory of the premises together.

 

 

 

Use of the premises:

Guests are asked to respect the peace and quiet of the property and to make use of the amenities responsibly. Please do not disturb any other guests.  Parents will also ensure that their children do not run riot and behave within the rules of the Moulin.

Special attention is drawn to the fact that there is a river on the property. The owner, operator and manager are unable to accept any liability should an accident occur.

Stays at the watermill are for a maximum number of 6 people, plus a baby, where applicable (a cot is available). If the number of guests exceeds this number, the operator and manager may refuse entry to them.

Under no circumstances may refusal to accept excess guests be considered as a modification or breach of contract on the part of the operator. If the client decides to leave, no refund will be given.

Pets are not allowed. If this rule is not complied with, the operator has the right to deny entry to the client. Under no circumstances may refusal to accept pets be considered as a modification or breach of contract on the part of the operator. If the client decides to leave, no refund will be given.

To avoid accidents and any inconvenience to others harming the quality and atmosphere of the property, the accommodation is strictly non-smoking.

The client undertakes to return the buildings and furnishings made available in good condition.

On departure, rubbish should be sorted and placed in the appropriate dustbins. This selective recycling must be carried out in line with the attached instructions and the pictograms affixed to the dustbins. If sorting is not carried out properly, a surcharge of 20€ per rubbish sack will be charged.

 The watermill's wellbeing space is open from 9.00 am to 10.00 pm, subject to the payment of cleaning charges.

If you use the facilities of the wellbeing space, you are deemed to be sufficiently well informed to be able to protect your own health and the health of those with you, as well as the amenities placed at your placed at your disposal – in other words, you know what you are doing!

 A fire extinguisher is available in the technical room, behind the shower.

The wellbeing space is reserved for responsible adults only. Unattended children are not permitted under any circumstances in the area.

Moulin de Jeannot aims to provide you with a quiet, private stay. Please try and keep it that way.

Please note that the paved accessways between amenities may become slippery.

Glass items are not permitted in the wellbeing space.

Please wear something appropriate on your feet when moving between the sauna-shower and hot tub/jacuzzi, so that the facilities are not soiled.

The various users of the wellbeing space are asked to agree on what they wear in the various facilities. Users are requested to cover themselves when moving around outside.

If you suffer from health problems, we recommend you notify your doctor of your visit.

Drinking alcohol before a sauna is not recommended.

The water used in the wellbeing space is spring water that is replaced each day. It is not inspected regularly, nor is it drinkable.

 

For the WATERMILL:

Please put clean crockery and cutlery away or stack and switch on the dishwasher.

Dirty linen should be left in the bathtub. 

Parking limited at 3 cars.

 

For the LODGE:

2 poeple maximum (min 12 years).

Dirty linen should be left in the shower.

 

 

 

 

Disputes:

Any complaint about the condition of the property must be submitted immediately to the owner and manager so that they can make a proposal aimed at reaching an amicable resolution. If this is not possible, the courts in the district of Nivelles shall have jurisdiction.
